Psychological Ju-Jitsu is best played online so that the computer can mediate - the alternative is pieces of paper. To play it online, a MUSH and my Psychological Ju-Jitsu board are somewhat necessary, however.

The figures following in the rules are arbitrary, and can be changed, but must be stated before the game begins.

Each player starts the game with 100 'money' and 0 'points'.
Each round, both players place one 'bid', hidden from the other player.
Once both bids are placed, they are revealed to the opponent. Both players subtract the value of their bid from their 'money'. The player with the higher bid claims one 'point'. If the bids are equal, neither player claims a point.
The first player to have six points is the winner.
If a player runs out of money, the game continues; the player must bid 0 for every subsequent round. If both players run out of money, which is unlikely, the game is tied.

Here is an example game between Bob and Tim:

Bob and Tim start with 100 money and 0 points.
Round 1:
Bob bids 10. Tim, expecting Bob to bid highly, bids 0.
Bob wins the round. Bob now has 90 money, Tim has 100.
Round 2:
Bob bids 2, expecting Tim to either bid higher than 10 or 0 again. Tim bids 5, expecting Bob to reason just how he did.
Tim wins the round. Bob now has 88 money and 1 point, Tim has 95 money and 1 point.
Round 3:
Bob bids 0. Tim bids 15, expecting Bob to bid highly again.
Tim wins the round. Bob has 88 money and 1 point, Tim has 80 money and 2 points.
Round 4:
Bob bids 12. Tim bids 15 again.
Tim wins the round. Bob has 76 money and 1 point, Tim has 65 money and 3 points.
Round 5:
Bob bids 15. Tim bids 25 - unusually high, but he does seem to have the advantage.
Tim wins the round. Bob has 61 money and 1 point, Tim has 40 money and 4 points.
Round 6:
Bob bids 21, expecting Tim to use half his money. Tim bids 0, hoping Bob will waste money.
Bob wins the round (at a nasty price). Bob has 40 money and 2 points, Tim has 40 money and 4 points.
Round 7:
Bob bids 0. Tim bids 23.
Tim wins the round (really bad price). Bob has 40 money and 2 points, Tim has 17 money and 5 points.
This is a tricky situation - Bob can outbid anything Tim can bid, but not indefinitely.
Round 8:
Bob bids 1, hoping Tim will bid 0 to catch some money back. Tim bids 17, hoping Bob will be cautious.
Tim wins the round. Bob has 39 money and 2 points, Tim has 0 money and 6 points, and wins the game.

Bob screams futilely and stamps his feet, cursing. Tim laughs evilly, and tells Bob he's really predictable. Bob challenges Tim to another game. And so it goes on.
